Guests at Grant Halliburton Foundation’s Steaks on the Lake dinner and auction raised a record $330,000 to support the Foundation’s mental health and suicide prevention programs in North Texas communities and schools. Steaks on the Lake was co-chaired by Polly and Mike Campbell, Susan and Evan Griffiths, and Beverly and Alan Vuckovich. Honorary chairs were Tori and Roy Serpa, co-founders of Brit Rose Foundation, a Dallas nonprofit established in memory of their daughter, Brittney Rose, who battled mental illness and was a victim of cyberbullying before her suicide death at age 18. Said co-chair Polly Campbell, “Mental illness touches so many families, and that is why the work of Grant Halliburton Foundation is so important.”
